About the European Biofeedback Foundation

Biofeedback Foundation Europe BFE is a non-profit organization located in England and its mission is to raise the awareness of health professionals and train doctors in the use of the latest methods and technologies of biofeedback. The Foundation’s advisory board includes leading clinicians and researchers from multiple disciplines who share a common goal of disseminating information in this rapidly growing and developing field. This foundation deals with training and certification for physicians and specialists who wish to apply biofeedback in their profession and periodically reviews their needs to maintain valid certification. This foundation is one of the 4 main neurofeedback and biofeedback organizations in the world, along with BCIA, ISNR and AAPB.

What is biofeedback?

Biofeedback is a technique in rapid non-pharmaceutical development with strong evidence of efficacy. Biofeedback was created in the field of psychophysiology and its purpose is to teach how to manage one’s internal states by regulating one’s psychophysiological function (physiological self-regulation). What is biofeedback?

Through BFE trainings, professionals who want to apply biofeedback in their profession can directly gain knowledge and skills from leading international and national professors.

The BFE annual meeting, which is held every year in various European cities, has workshops taught by experts in the field.
The European Biofeedback Foundation is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) to continuously support the education of psychologists.

Objectives of BFE

The European Biofeedback Foundation has introduced many experts around the world to the latest and advanced knowledge of biofeedback and neurofeedback.

The aim of this foundation is to continuously teach new biofeedback and neurofeedback methods to a new generation of specialists in various fields using creative methods.

This foundation has been able to obtain the approval of the American Psychological Association APA to assign retraining points to those who participate in its courses. From now on, in addition to learning how to use biofeedback and neurofeedback in therapy, psychologists can also receive the American Psychological Association’s CE retraining score by participating in the courses and seminars of this organization.

Different ways to earn APA points

1- Recorded courses

These courses are accessible through the Internet: after viewing, you must complete the survey form and answer the questions sent to you from the course topics within a week. After successfully passing the exam, the points will be counted for you.

2- Online courses and webinars

Your effective attendance in the course will be checked by logging in several times. After the course and completion of the survey form, points will be considered for you.

3- Participation in BFE conferences and meetings

The BFE Affiliate Program is designed to help communities around the world incorporate biofeedback to achieve their health and performance goals. This program is implemented through Centers of Excellence that provide information and training on specific topics in the field of biofeedback. Farmed Academy

Farmed Academy, first as a representative and then as a Center of Excellence or BFE office in the Middle East for more than ten years, has created a bridge between experts in Iran and the region and leaders in the field of neurofeedback and biofeedback in the world. The headings of the neurofeedback and biofeedback workshops have been compiled and approved in accordance with the BFE programs and according to the current knowledge of this field, so that the participants of the workshop can learn the most scientific and accurate treatment protocols. Faculty members of Farmed Academy are evaluated by BFE every year and receive a teaching diploma. They have access to BFE scientific resources and communicate with top professors.

The latest clinical findings made by BFE have been provided to experts to be used in Iran as needed. Also, the necessary facilities for receiving international certificates have been provided, which is the only educational complex in Iran in this regard.
