
Pelvic floor biofeedback workshop
Pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence are caused by the lack of rest of the muscles in that area and can be treated with biofeedback. By using biofeedback, the specialist can help the patient to improve the control of the pelvic floor muscles. Several methods are used in biofeedback. This tool can detect the contracted or relaxed muscle and provide a visual or audio feedback. This feedback helps the patient to know that the muscle is moving and therefore to have more control over that muscle. The impact level of biofeedback for this disorder is defined as 5 out of 5.
In the pelvic floor biofeedback workshop, after getting familiar with the definitions and theoretical topics, the interested parties will learn how to perform this treatment method from evaluation to treatment protocols in a practical way (in the form of an educational video).

This course is held with Thought Technology hardware (MyoTrac device) and Biograph Infiniti software.
