The tDCS electrical brain stimulation device Oasis Pro model produced by Mind Alive Canada is designed and manufactured for clinical uses of tDCS electrical brain stimulation in compliance with the latest safety standards for the use of this method. This device can provide up to 2.2 milliamps of current intensity and the maximum voltage set in it is set at 35 volts for maximum safety. For the convenience of clients, after the start of the session, the current is gradually increased to the set value (ramp up) and at the end of the session, it decreases in the same way (ramp down). If the resistance value between the scalp and the electrodes of the device exceeds the permissible limit, the device will display this issue with visual warnings and prevent the continuation of the session.
This tDCS device also offers two other stimulation methods, CES and MET:
In CES or Cranio Electrical Stimulation, electrical current stimulates the brain through electrodes placed on the patient’s ear. This method can be used for depression, insomnia and anxiety, which is also approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It is also possible to stimulate the muscles with this device. MET or Microcurrent Electro Therapy is a method to relieve and reduce muscle pain that is built into this device.
