EKG™ heart rate biofeedback sensor

ECG/EKG heart rate biofeedback sensor by Thought Technology is for recording ECG heart rate and using its information in biofeedback. This sensor measures the low electrical voltages produced by the heart muscle during contraction and amplifies it.

The intensity of the heart rate signal is in the range of microvolts, and the information that can be obtained with this sensor, such as heart rate, the interval between two beats, the variability of the heart rate HRV, can help specialists in evaluating the patient’s condition and determining the appropriate treatment.

The standard heart rate measurement is done by attaching electrodes to the chest. Three electrodes are attached to the person; The negative electrode near the right shoulder, the positive electrode slightly below the middle of the chest and the ground electrode on the left shoulder. But this sensor is provided with bands that, in addition to the standard mode, can record the heart rate by tying it on the person’s forearm when placing electrodes on the chest is not possible or is associated with problems. These straps are washable and using them makes biofeedback sessions more comfortable.

This sensor is compatible with all ProComp neurofeedback devices.
