The breathing biofeedback sensor can be used to check a person’s breathing rate, the duration of inhalation and exhalation, and the depth of breathing.

This sensor is attached to the person’s abdomen and chest. It is covered by a durable elastic band and secured by an adjustable strap. It detects the contraction/expansion of the chest and abdomen and its output is the breathing waveform.

This sensor is attached to the person’s abdomen and chest. It is covered by a durable elastic band and secured by an adjustable strap. It detects the contraction/expansion of the chest and abdomen and its output is the breathing waveform.

To increase the efficiency of the breathing biofeedback sensor, it is used together with the EKG heart rate sensor or the BVP blood pressure sensor so that the HRV heart rate variability is coordinated with the breathing pattern of each person.

This sensor is compatible with all ProComp neurofeedback devices.

Principles of use:
The breathing biofeedback sensor is sensitive to stretching. When it is attached to the abdomen or chest, it converts the amount of contraction and expansion that occurred into the up and down of the signal on the screen. When the belly expands, the elastic part of the sensor also expands so that the client feels comfortable.

How to place the sensor:
For most applications, this sensor needs to be placed on the stomach. But a second sensor can also be connected in the chest area. This can be useful for abdominal breathing exercises.

The three parts of the breathing biofeedback sensor (sensor belt, elastic belt and clip belt) are connected to each other and surround the patient’s abdomen (two fingers above the navel).
